This discography focuses on Huey Lewis as a singer and harmonica player. Although Huey Lewis is the leader of Huey Lewis and the News there have been other projetcs on the sidelines of his own band. Most of them worth checking out. Sometimes one is amazed at what Huey can do especially with his harmonica. He is definitely one of the better harmonica players around. Sure, one can name more sophisticated harmonica players who know how to get more out of this little instrument but Huey isn't too far away. Huey never produced an album which could be considered a 'pure' harmonica album - nevertheless he knows how to put that little thing into action whenever it's needed. Well and then there is his singing and songwriting - nothing needs to be said about that. One has just to take a look at all those records sold.
The discography starts with the most recent release and then goes back in time. The date of release doesn't always have to be the actual year of recording - it is the date albums were available for the first time. In addition to the album covers and album titles, complete tracklistings can be found and info on what Huey's contributions were (vocals, harmonica and/or production credits).
